前回（APS出願後（６）奨学金の内容について その２）に引き続き 、今回もScholarship Terms and Conditions（奨学金要項）についてご紹介します。
奨学金について③：生活費の支給額
今回はAPSプログラムに参加する間に支給される、フィリピンとコスタリカでの生活費についてご紹介します。
フィリピン＆コスタリカでの生活費について
要項の最後の部分で、フィリピンとコスタリカでの生活費が下記のように示されます（レイアウトは変更しています）。まずはフィリピンから。

約１年間で支給される金額は6,900ドルとなり、日本円で約76万円です。続いてコスタリカでは、

フィリピンより毎月100ドル多いため、10ヶ月間で7,000ドル、日本円で約77万円となります。そしてAPSではこれだけでなく、教材代として、

と、プログラム期間中毎月100ドルが支払われ、合計2,150ドル、日本円で約24万円支給されます。
上記を全て合算すると、16,050ドル、日本円で約180万円ほどにもなります。いかにこのプログラムが恵まれているかが分かります…。もちろん、これだけの経済的な支援を受けるので当然制約もあり、例として、
4. The monthly stipend may be withheld in any of the following cases:
a. Non-adherence to the host university’s academic and administrative policies resulting in cancelation of enrollment
b. Withdrawal from the programme or early departure, due to medical conditions or personal reasons
c. Simultaneous enrollment in other academic institutions or scholarship funds
d. Monetary gain from formal employment
Non-adherence to any of the requirements or conditions stated in this document
といったものが挙げられています。
